Our Mission

Florida Landlord Network provides news, analysis, legal updates, market data, and practical guidance for Florida landlords and property managers. Our editorial goal is to help our readers make informed decisions about their rental properties.

Content Sources

Our articles and news items are drawn from multiple sources:

  • • Original reporting: Articles written by Florida Landlord Network staff based on primary sources and direct reporting.
  • • Aggregated news: Articles sourced from external news outlets, government publications, and public records. Original sources are credited and linked where available.
  • • Government and legislative sources: Official texts of statutes, regulations, and legislative bills, linked to their primary sources.
  • • Opinion and commentary: Articles labeled as opinion or commentary reflect the views of the author, not necessarily those of Florida Landlord Network.

Accuracy & Attribution

We strive to report accurate information and to cite or link to primary sources wherever possible. When we aggregate or summarize news from external sources, we identify the source and link to the original article. Florida Landlord Network does not rely on membership dues, transaction fees, or hidden paywalls. The site is funded primarily through our statewide Eviction Service. Sponsored or promotional content, where present, is labeled as such.

Content Updates

Published articles display their original publication date. When an article is substantively updated, we note the update. Minor corrections (typos, formatting) may be made without a dated update notice.
